Ndok Aisô/Lexicon
This is a short lexicon of Ndok Aisô. All entries are in the form of the dialect of Ngahêxôldod, ca. 250 YP.
The citation form of verbs is the indicative habitual singular. Along with this, the indicative habitual plural and the stem class are given for all verbs, and any unpredictable irregularities are also listed in the morphology column.
Adjectives are cited in the nominative singular; the accusative singular is also given since the combination of these two forms generally suffices to predict all other morphological forms.
For nouns, the antigenitive form is only given when the stem undergoes changes.
Abbreviations used:
- Ad. = Adāta
- B.Nz. = Buruya Nzaysa
- Gez. = Gezoro
- F. = Fáralo
- Me. = Meshi
- Miw. = Forest Miwan
- PHab. = Proto-Habeo
- Tl. = Tlaliolz
- unmarked = Ndak Ta
If no etymon is given, the word can be assumed to be a non-Edastean loan from any of various sources, including Hitatc languages, Meshi, Mohudza, and western dialects of Tlaliolz. I expect that these will fill in as more information on these languages becomes available.
