Ishoʻu ʻOhu/Lexicon
Jump to navigation
Jump to search
This is a sample lexicon of Ishoʻu ʻOhu. It borrows heavily from the Isi Lukpanic dialect, particularly in areas pertaining to urban life and technology, and also from other nearby languages such as Ìletlégbàku and Šetâmol.
Many nominals in PCW were apparently of the "wrong" animacy. In most cases these nominals have changed to the more appropriate animacy, but it should be noted that many (though not all) body parts are considered animate, as are a few miscellaneous things such as water (zípe).
