I'm just wondering if there could be something done to allow us to completely remove the phonetic language name field. PW and perhaps other future languages may be named in English instead of natively, and having a disembodied "[N/A]" floating there under the name is a little clunky. Deleting the content produces [] which is worse, and deleting the whole line produces a (whacked) IPA representation of "language", which is worse yet. Radius 11:10, 18 November 2008 (UTC)

This should be no problem, except that we will have to manually add the phonetic brackets to all articles containing Template:Language where the phonetic name should be kept. -- Cedh 12:26, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
