Iron in Tuysáfa
Iron working was invented separately in eastern Tuysáfa by Anatolionesian peoples on the island of Ōshin around -700 YP, spurred by competition between different tribes for the relatively scarce tin resources (for making bronze). When regular contact with the mainland was re-established around -200 YP, the techniques of iron smelting were adopted by the Katapaki, and soon afterwards began spreading across the continent from east to west.
