Antarctica is a continent covering much of the southern polar region of Akana.
Current theories suggest that Antarctica was first populated around -3000 YP by a population traveling there via island chains from Zeluzhia. A secondary migration to the mainland from the islands to the west may have occurred at some time around -1600 YP.
Inhabitants of this continent include the Zashai-kas ('sun people').
