QUOTE: Proto-Tulameya had four cases marked by prefixes: [...] the primative, used for objects of monotransitive sentences and the indirect objects (themes) of ditransitive sentences; the secundative, used for the direct objects (recipients) of ditransitive sentences; [...]
QUOTE: [...] in transitive sentences, the recipient (secundative) followed the theme (primative).
A case that marks specifically the recipient in ditransitive clauses is an ordinary dative (see here). So if you want to have a language with secundative alignment, you'll probably want to switch around the marking of themes and recipients... - Cedh (talk) 23:39, 4 January 2017 (PST)
Is a dedicated case for direct objects in ditransitive clauses even attested? All the cases I've seen the role is either done by some other case or (most commonly) by only marking the indirect object on the verb. - Frislander (talk) 13:17, 28 February 2017 (GMT)
