Njemnetsa is a continent covering much of the southern polar region of Akana. It is the least-populated continent in the world. Denizens of this continent include the Ṭṣaśayk!aso (*ʈʂaʃaj k!as-o 'sun people') people groups.
Current theories suggest that Njemnetsa was first populated around -3000 YP by a population traveling there via island chains from Zeluzhia. A secondary migration to the mainland from the islands to the west appears to have occurred at some time around -1600 YP.
There are three main groups of languages on the continent and its surrounding islands, all of which appear to be related: Central K!asic, Peripheral K!asic, and Insular K!asic.
The name "Njemnetsa" is derived from Proto-Macro-K!asic *ńjem nǁeṭṣa 'cold ground'.
